Krackin’ Kelpies

If you haven’t seen the Kelpies yet – the largest equine sculptures in the world … or walked around the Helix park in glorious sunshine, then you have been missing out.

The Helix park, situated between Falkirk and Grangemouth, was originally a large stetch of waste and abandoned ground, left behind from the bygone industrial age. The ironworks on the site were long gone so in 2006, planning for a large public park began.

It is well worth a visit … and you have the Falkirk wheel nearbye too.
